FRONT magazine is searching for an awesome Advertising Sales Executive to join the advertising department. The successful candidate will have proven sales achievements, ideally but not essentially from a large publishing house, with experience selling classified advertising to clients and a love for bringing in new business.
As one of the only titles in the market to be increasing in circulation, you’ll be selling classified advertising on a fantastically well respected title with a multi-platform offering. This is a paid position.
The role: As Advertising Sales Executive, you will maximise the revenue from existing clients and generate new business through regular cold calling. Working individually and as part of a team, you will be expected to sell advertising space, fill the classified section each month and exceed revenue targets. This is a unique monthly classified section, so you will need to be hardworking, have great organisational and time-management skills, and be used to selling in a competitive monthly market.
The successful candidate: Minimum of six months’ sales experience, ideally with a consumer press background, though any sales experience will be considered. Proven sales achievements selling classified advertising to clients. Good understanding of the men’s lifestyle print market and a knowledge of the street wear fashion and music scene is an advantage. Excellent telesales experience and confident negotiator. Excellent time-management and organisational skills. Must thrive when working under pressure.
