A few days back, we showed you the first of many FRONT Versus… videos that we’ve gone and done with the terrific twosome Lora Leigh and Arabella pitching themselves against a load of killer bands. Here they are going head to head with The Wonder Years, who seem to have taken over the interview themselves.

When they’re not creating singles, like This Is The Six which is out now, that get everyone including Radio 1′s Fearne Cotton pumped to the point of punching a priest (that’s some goddamn alliteration right there), While She Sleeps like a little spot of skating every now and again. There they are, just up there, rolling and flipping all over Bristol. With that in mind, we asked some of the boys who their fave skaters of all time are. Here’s who they picked…

Loz Taylor, vocals: “There’s a lot of unreal skaters out there, but if you really pushed me to pick one I would say right now it’s Justin Figueroa. Basically, I really love his style. Emerica’s Stay Gold DVD is so sick, and Figgy kills it. Check it out and you’ll see what I mean. The DVD also includes Andrew Reynolds, Jerry Hsu and Leo Romero, but every single section on that skate vid is amazing.”

Mat Welsh, guitar: “I’m going with Richie Jackson. He brings a whole new level of creativity to skateboarding. He’s fast as fuck, mixes styles and just kills it. When I watch his videos, his style is so varied that I’m constantly surprised by the tricks he pulls out. He does things you wouldn’t have thought of yourself, or even thought possible. He skates for Death Skateboards, and I’ve always loved that company. Their artwork and imagery is so simple and straight-to-point. Its thanks to that company that I originally discovered him.”

Aaran Mckenzie, bass: “My favourite skater is probably Chris Haslam. He is a cool-as-fuck dude with a gnarly style that’s brought so many different elements to the world of skateboarding. His videos, such as Cheese And Crackers, are real game-changers. Oh, and big up for coming to skate our mini ramp in the barn!”

Goddamn, those Young Guns know how to enjoy their job. Here they are taking us around Los Angeles, buying the most deliciousest milkshakes ever, pooping their pants at the sight of ghosts at Universal Studios and jumping around a lot on a roof. All this happened during the shoot for their next video for Dearly Departed, which will be the band’s next single due out 11 June.

They’ve also announced the support for their upcoming tour later this year. Joining them in autumn will be We Are The In Crowd, Your Demise and Marmozets. Check dates out after the jump, and buy their current album Bones from here.
