It was the Gaming Media Awards last night, and we were nominated for best games coverage in a mainstream magazine. As far as we know, that’s the first award we’ve ever been nominated for – that might make us sound a bit shit, but most magazine award things involve you paying loads of money to be nominated, and fuck that. Paying people to like you is what shitbags and rejects do, and we are neither, thank you very much.
We didn’t win. The award was presented to Shortlist. We don’t think it’s out of order at all to point out that if Shortlist is your favourite magazine you are a dull shit allergic to personality. We’re totally not bitter, though. Although we did hear that Shortlist’s mum is a big fat slag. Also, Shortlist has a tiny cock, we were told. Plus apparently Shortlist is a premature ejaculater and fancies its own dad.
