They’ve released a poster for Scott Pilgrim Vs The World, the Michael Cera-starring, Edgar Wright-directed adaptation of Brian Lee O’Malley’s comic, beloved by slightly emo dudes and awkward bassists everywhere. Hopefully it won’t be dreadful – Cera’s insistence on playing the same person in every film ever is starting to grate a bit, but Edgar Wright is the bizzomb, and our mate Jason Schwartzman (we spoke to him once) is in it, so we’re pretty optimistic.

Sneak pics posted on MTV news from the Scott Pilgrim vs the World trailer is epic “epic of epicness.” The ultimate battle pic Scott vs Gideon is aaamazing. Comic books and video games – seems like Wright’s nailed it. Can’t wait!
