TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE HEART: LITERAL VERSION

Hey, look, it’s one of those ‘literal videos’, where they’ve replaced the singing with new singing describing what’s going on in the video, this time for husky-voiced Welshwoman Bonnie Tyler’s 1983 hit Total Eclipse Of The Heart. It gets very shit about three minutes in, but by then you’ll have got the joke about a hundred times. They’re very clever, these, but what happened to playing outside?

Fun Total Eclipse Of The Heart fact: this song was originally offered to doughy hard-sweatin’ bat-out-of-hell Meat Loaf, but his record company wouldn’t pay for it. Drop that one into conversation at parties and get ready for a suckjob bonanza.
