They had a press screening for Four Lions yesterday, the Chris Morris-directed “Jihadist comedy”, and we totes went to it, y’all. And it’s very good.
We had expected, from this clip we got our hands on before, that it would all be the same kind of bumbling terrorist hijinks and escapades, but it’s a lot more up-and-down than that.
It’s hard to describe much of it without giving too much away, but it doesn’t pull any punches in terms of what these dudes are trying to do. It’s really good.
But why go with our opinions when you can get a celebrity’s opinions? David Cross, the awesome comedian and star of Arrested Development, Mr Show and, er, Alvin & The Chipmunks was there, so we went and asked him what he thought.
His verdict? “I really liked it.” He’s a big star, so he knows what he’s talking about. Was this post a roundabout way of showing off the fact that we met David Cross? Yes, yes it was.

This picture of the tmnt and the honey monster (i think) reminded me of when i walked past a cafe in sheffield and the same guys were filming outside there. I could so be an extra XD ill be the mop head guy going WTF??
