The first few bands for this year’s Slam Dunk Festival have been announced, and once again it looks like it’ll be a hot and a holler. New Found Glory, The King Blues, Capdown, Four Year Strong, Set Your Goals, RX Bandits, Out Of Sight and Every Avenue will all be hitting London and Leeds come May, plus a good thirty or so more yet-to-be-announced bands.
The full press release is after the jump, but it fails to answer the most important question – does the dude from New Found Glory still look like a felt-tip-covered Quentin Tarantino?

Tell us about your tattoos and piercings: “I work in a clothing store with a piercing studio and a tattoo studio – it’s pretty dope! Tattoo-wise, I have a large back piece, two wrist pieces and a leg piece. All my work is pretty old school as I think it’s timeless. I have lip, nose and ear piercings and stretchers in my ears.”
What’s your perfect night out? “Going for sushi, then to a gig or playing a show and then out to an after-party in London or Cardiff.”
Anything else we should know about? “ilovekc.co.uk has links to everything I do! I’m obsessed with Chinese, Japanese and Thai food and I really want to go to Asia! I also am a total gadget and music geek. That’s about it!”

If so, you’re in for two treats.
Firstly, if you display the above poster for Mark Millar’s upcoming series Nemesis, you get a free ad in the comic. Find out the deets here. It’s a shame they weren’t manly enough to actually use the word SHIT, though. SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT. Look. It’s easy.
Secondly, if you run a comic shop, get in touch. We’d like to befriend you and potentially do something awesome.
*In the pancake-making sense only, of course. Happy Pancake Tuesday, everyone.
